Why not would the UK IP not work in Israel? Is there different electric voltage from the UK pot that is not good for Israel voltage 220 as well?
I had a family member and one friend i wanted to buy for, that live in Israel..
Sad to think the UK will not work there too.

      Instant Pot says:

      Hi Mary,

The units are designed and warrantied only for the area they were intended for sale. Israels voltage is 230 and not 220v , we advise against using any voltage converter.

The IP EU version is available from, …. BUT ….. if you need replacement parts and do not live in the US, CA, or the UK you are out of luck. Instantpot in the US ships replacement parts to US and Canadian addresses, only, and ships replacement parts to UK addresses, only. So when the float valve needs replacement and you live outside of those limited areas you are hosed. It would be nice if IP would support their EU version in the EU.

I currently live in BC Canada but will be moving to Brasil in the next few months. I cant bring my instant pot with me. Are they available for sale in Brasil? Or can I buy a different power cord to use with it in brasil?

    • Sorley Oneil
      Sorley Oneil says:

      Hello Marnie,

At this time we do not distribute the Instant Pot in Brazil. As your North American model is designed to function on the 120 volt system we recommend not using it in Brazil.

If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.

I live in Czech Republic (Europe). Will be IP available in Germany or UK again? Or is it possible to somehow buy Europe version in US (I have found only US version on Amazon, I have a trip to US this year)?

    Thanks, Regards,

    • Sorley Oneil
      Sorley Oneil says:

      Hello Jitka,

Thank you for your inquiry, I’ll be happy to help answer!

Instant Pot manufactures 220V models for use in the UK and European market. They are available from Instant Pot UK; They can also be found at

The North American 120V Instant Pot models are not designed to operate on a 220 volt system. Please note that using the 120V Instant Pot outside of North America will void the warranty.

If you should have any further questions please feel free to reach out again!

Can someone help me with our instant pot problem? We’ve been using the Instant Pot for the last 10 months and use it every 2 days. For the last 3-4 weeks we’re finding that the float valve is not rising and sealing so it doesn’t get up to pressure. This is happening more and more often but not 100% of the time. Sometimes when we open and reclose the top the float valve will pop up. However, we often have to open and close multiple times before it will pop up and seal. We clean the parts with each use. The float valve moves freely.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Are we doing something incorrectly?
    Any help is appreciated.

Hi Leslie I am in Australia too and just wondering how your Instant Pot has been going, have you experienced any issues with it, how does the warranty work if there are problems. I really would love to purchase one and have been waiting for a long time for it to arrive in Australia but not sure if it is going to. Would love to know how you went with it all. Many thanks

We’re from outside Ottawa Canada, the home of the instant pot. My friend got me onto the IP and I’ve had one(5qt) for about 2 years. Since then we have purchased another 8qt for ouselves and another for a gift for either mother-in-law oe daughter, the other will get the 5qt we already own. Plus we also purchased a 3 qt for my husband for when he works away from home and must live in hotels, and another for his bachelor brother. So….yes we are an IP family and love it. I feel it is only a matter of time before it hits Australia! When it does you’ll love it! Get in touch with those great people from Ottawa that invented it( would love to shake their hands),one would think that with the Canadian model and now a UK and EU version something must work or be on the way! Good luck!

Hi – you are correct in that the UK website is not set up for despatching outside the UK, if individuals would like to contact me directly via the support function on the UK website we can look into courier costs and a unique proposition based on location.
We have shipped numerous units to Australia for example and all have arrived safely

Any chance that we will soon be able to order the DUO for shipping to Australia? I’ll wait if you have plans to allow that, else will have to go for something else. 🙁

    Thank you!

Unfortunately the UK Instantpot website won’t let me change the country from UK to Australia for billing or shipping. I tried Amazon UK again too, and it still lets me pick EU addresses, but not Australian ones.

Having the same problem. The uk one will work in South Korea, where I work. and I can fake it back to Sydney as well, I could order through the U.S. Site and ended up going with a converter for the power supply. Not ideal when I know the correct voltage model actually exists but I just could not get it sent to me.

Hi Leslie, I had the same problem a few years ago, when it wasn’t available in Europe yet.
It is really a fantastic piece to have in your kitchen, so if you can not find another way, I would be willing to resend it to you from the Netherlands, where I live. If you would like that please let me know 🙂

          HI Chris,

I just sent an email to the above address you have given. Fingers crossed and hoping to hear from them about shipping to Australia!

Leslie – you are so lucky. Was there any voltage problem? Did you have to buy a pin/plug converter or an adapter?
