Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 2 cups dry roasted peanuts
  • 4 tsp. whole Szechuan peppercorns
  • 1 tsp. salt

Dry roasted peanuts get dressed up to make a sweet, salty, and fragrant snack. Szechuan peppercorns create a subtle numbing sensation, tingling the tongue and mouth. You are guaranteed to keep going back for more!

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place 2 tablespoons of butter in a medium microwave-safe mixing bowl. Microwave at 10-second intervals until melted. Alternatively, gently heat the butter in a small saucepan on medium-low heat until melted.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 cups of peanuts, 4 teaspoons of Szechuan peppercorns, and 1 teaspoon of salt to the melted butter. Stir to combine.
  3. Air Fry the peanuts at 385°F / 196°C for 5-7 minutes, or until golden. Spread on parchment paper. Serve when cooled.
